Google began life as a search engine. But over the years it’s acquired over 150 companies, all of which collect data that you, often unknowingly, provide them. Google’s main business is to sell advertising based on the data it collects about you. If you’re concerned that so much of your personal data is collected and stored by one company, my advice would be to stop using so many Google products and services.
